Balloon Surprise
Pinterest had an idea that I wanted to copy. At that place was a photo of a footling daughter looking all adorable up on her bed, and beneath her on the floor were big, colorful balloons. The mail said, "On their birthday, encompass the flooring with balloons while they slumber."
Brilliant idea!
I went to Party City. Their single balloons were 99 cents each. Too expensive. I decided to purchase a bag of fifty balloons for $four.99. Nonetheless, while walking the endless aisles of Party City, I somehow turned into my female parent. I neglected to read any of the words on the bag. Words like SMALL (read teeny tiny) and 25 BALLOONS (not fifty…had I only imagined that?).
That dark, the night before my son turned six, I brought the bag of balloons out from the car. I was confused, why was it and then little? Darnit! I messed upwardly. The balloons were so small, in fact, that I couldn't even accident them up. I recruited my daughters and a neighbour, who all had stronger cheeks than I had.
All 25 of them fit in my arms. Oh, well.
I scattered them past his bed as he slept. They really did look deplorable, just guess what? 6 year olds don't care! He loves his balloons and it was a perfect start to his birthday weekend.
